Art

The Renaissance impacted our society in many ways, but art is a very important one. Before people tended to do portraits or religious works. Most artwork tended to be stiff and dull. Perspective, oil paints, and other new techniques broadened how art was made. Also "radical" people were more free to do as they pleased. Many patrons were willing to give money to artist, even if it was controversial. Greek myths and other pagan topics were touched, much was fantasy. People experimented more. They set the stage for making art a more sensual practice and put focus on secular life, instead of just the afterlife. They appreciated earthly beauty, that's why you see alot of nature and naked people. It liberated art.
